my life is full of details on a certain level

i was born on a cold january morning in 1978. the ambulance coming to retrieve my laboring mother slid on a patch of ice at the end of my family's street. it became stuck in a small enbankment. my mother walked to the ambulance.

i was a blizzard baby. compliments of st. joseph's hospital, i have a t-shirt to prove it. "'78 BLIZZARD BABY" it declares.
i remember thinking quietly to myself, "i have never seen so much snow."
